Refund policy

Damaged or missing orders

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible on 0207 183 4380 or via shop@ghostinthebottle.com if there are any discrepancies or problems with your order. 

Returns

We're happy to take back any bottles that are still in perfect condition up to 30 days from delivery. Please get in touch with us via shop@ghostinthebottle.com to start the returns process. All charges (minus the original delivery cost) will be refunded upon our receipt of the goods in their original condition of sale. The cost of returning the order is at your expense. Risk remains with the buyer until the wines are delivered to Shrine to the Vine.

Corked or out of condition bottles

If you suspect a wine is out of condition, reseal the bottle and contact us within 24 hours via shop@ghostinthebottle.com. We may need to arrange collection of any suspected out of condition bottles for analysis. Faulty wines will be refunded, credited or replaced, subject to availability. Please note that we can only offer refunds, credit or replacements up to six months from the original purchase date, providing the bottles have been properly stored. 

With respect to older wines we will make reasonable efforts to verify the provenance of such wines but we cannot guarantee the authenticity or quality of the wine in the bottle. Older products may age and mature in different ways which may not be to all tastes, and some wines may deteriorate in quality. Unfortunately we are unable to replace mature wine over 10 years of age and these wines are ‘sold as seen'.
